Delayed Period. What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy?

Hi dr,I have sex with my husband at day 17th.I took my 1st prosrinor 2 at 48 hour after but I only took the 2nd dose 24 hour after 1st dose.Before this I will bleed after around 1 week but today after 9 days,I still don't have bleeding.my period has been irregular since I gave birth January 2013 but before that my period was regular and the cycle was 28 days.Last month I did not take any pills and my cycle is 24 day..is there possibility that implantation has occur?thanx dr.

HI,
The ovulation is 14 days prior to expected day of pregnancy.may your cycle be 24 or 28 days the ovulation had ocured before day 17th( when you had sex. )
Emergensy contraceptive works by shifting ovulation, thus avoiding conception with the targeted intercourse, in the attempt the cycle gets disturbed & may come late.
In case your cycle being irregular, was to be delayed, the possibility of delayed ovulation & conception can be ruled out by blood HCG test .
