OBGYN 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query.
It could be an abnormal period that you experienced.
women with polycystic ovaries and endometrial hyperplasia often have delayed periods.
The lining of the uterus thickens, and when they finally menstruate, often a fleshy cast of endometrial tissue is passed.
Other than that, you could have been pregnant and had a miscarriage.
An ectopic pregnancy also should be ruled out.
Consult your gynecologist.
Take care.
