For most women, an irregular period is nothing to be worried about. There are many causes for a late period, such as stress, travel, dieting, and exercise. Although pregnancy is a common reason for a missed period, if you had a negative blood and urine test, pregnancy is very unlikely. If this is unusual for you, you should visit your ob/gyn to determine the cause of the problem.
