Dehydration, Fever, Vomiting, Eye Balls Yellow In Color. What Could Be This?

It started last Sunday, I felt dehydrated and had a fever of 102.5, on Monday my fever was breaking a bit down to 100 or so. Tuesday it was fluctuating and that night I vomited. Then Wednesday morning around 5am I vomited again and Thursday afternoon I vomited. I finally feel well enough to eat and I have all day, but a little girl noticed my eyes balls are yellow. Should I be concerned? (I am a 16 year old female if that helps)

Hi Dear

Welcome to the board of Health Care magic

All the symptoms you have described in your query are fitting in to development of some type of Hepatitis.Yellowness in the eyes are itself explaining that you have developed jaundice.

Get your Liver Function Test done. It will confirm our suspicion.

Consult some physician he will in investigate you according to your symptoms and manage you.

Hepatitis is a self limiting disease. Usually in the rainy season cause is water borne disease (Hepatitis A or E) both are self limiting provided proper supportive care has been provided.

Strict bed rest is advisable. more you work more you cause a load on your liver and here liver is not in healthy condition.

Diet control- avoid fatty meals. go for more and more carbohydrates.

Hope your query is answered.

Thanks
