Defecates Loose Motion, Foul Smell On Cremaffin Plus Syrup
my daughter taking cremaffin plus syrup about 2 months due to the non regular basis of defeacation. This is recommended by physician.
now my problem is my child defeaces as drops in pantees without inform to parents. if compel by us to defecate, she defecate as loose motion with foul smell.
she defecate alternate days.
can you suggest the problem associated with my daughter.

Hi, how old is she.
For pediatric age group, constipation and loose stool during same is rare and if present needs to be evaluated for the cause.
So get done her TSH level, USG abdomen and pelvis once to find if any cause. Give her plenty of fluids, daily high fiber diet (green leafy vegetables), avoid food with wheat for some time(to know if wheat intolerance), and practice to defecate after having food (Using Gastro colic reflex). This will help her to regularise and to maintain her body rhythm. Based on her age and your doctor advise give her deworming agent. These may help her.
