Deafness In Left Ear, Infection, Numbness In Right Ear

When I was 8 I lost the hearing in my left ear. I have no feeling in that ear. Now two weeks ago I had a bad infection in my left ear and now am losing feeling and hearing in the right ear. I am seeing a specialist soon I hope I am just waiting for my doctor to get back to me. What is causing the numbness?

You should not wait, get culture & sensitivity of ear discharge and blood sugar (F&PP) done. Consult E.N.T. specialist earliest & start proper antibiotic course to prevent further damage.
