Dark Skin Patches On The Shoulders. What Is The Reason And Remedy?

Hello Doctor, My name is James. I have small dark patches extending from my shoulder to my triceps. I think I first noticed it as a kid (11-12 years old). I am 28 now. I have ignored it until now. But now I feel it is increasing. I am not very sure of that though. Can you guide me as to what it could be and what remedies would you suggest. Thank you !!!

Hello.You could be having what is called a Becker's nevus, a benign condition which starts and spreads after puberty.Lasers are available to get rid of it.
