Dark Purple Bruise On The Arm With A Knot In The Middle, No Injury. What Could Be Causing This?

I noticed a bruise on my arm this morning/late last night.in the past 8hours it has gone from light yellow to red, light purple n now its a super dark purple. it has a knott in the middle n is really sore. I haven t ran into anything so what could be causing it? also i hv noticed to other small bruises on me but this 1 is super big and on my forearm

Hi,
You may have developed insect bite hypersensitivity. Usually insects get opportunity to bite in night hours. If there is sting in the central part of the lesion, get it removed. Consult a doctor as soon as possible, otherwise it may spread further.
