Dark Line Traversing Eyes Radially, Darker Line On Right Eye, Myopia, Astigmatism, Blurry Vision. Recommendations?
i just had an eye exam earlier and the doctor looked inside my eyes. he told me he saw a dark line/shadow and it traversed my eye radially.. he said he saw the line in both of my eyes but saw a darker one on the right and a lighter one on my left. i'm 19 years old, myopic and i've got a bad astigmatism. i also have the tendencies to have a blurrier vision at late afternoon.. i want to know what those shadows he saw meant...thanks.
The shadow described by your doctor could be an early degenerative change due to refractive error in your eyes. If you are having some problem with your vision you should get a refraction done. Also you should undergo a fundus examination for confirming the diagnosis.
Meanwhile you can take some anti-oxidants for about a month.
