Dandruff, Bleed From Scratching Forehead, Dry And White Patches Formed. Is This Due To Dandruff Or Dry Skin?
Hi: I have suffered from dandruff most of my life, it is worse on the hairline close to my forehead, sometimes I bleed from scratching too much. Recently, I have noticed that my forehead has become very dry with patches. I was also scratching these patches but stopped when I noticed that it was leaving white skin. Now I have white patches on my forehead. Is this due to dandruff or dry skin?
Namaste Greetings of the day Welcome to Healthcare-Magic The white patches are most likely due to seborrheic dermatitis due to dandruff. Applying ketoconazole shampoo will help. Take care Regards
