Da Vinci Hysterectomy. Have Essure Coils In Uterus. Is There A High Risk HPV?

I have a DaVinci hyst. scheduled and am trying to decide to leave or take the cervix. I have Essure coils in uterus/tubes, and want the coils out intact...not cut when uterus is ground to be removed through incision points. How would that occur if cervix is left? No abnormal pap and not high risk for HPV.
I am also scared of dying during surgery. I think since having kids my fear of death in general is heightened. I am healthy but have an autoimmune disease which complicates life in general. They think I have Lupus, but ALL labs don't indicate Lupus...just a couple. I have read the list of complications and most are ones I can deal with, but not heart attack or pulmonary failure. I am 42 and have no heart condition. I know it is normal to be scared, but I am thinking that most of the severe complications are for older/unhealthy patients, and dependent on skill of surgeon. Please advise.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.

If you wants the removal of coils intact, better to go for removal of cervix also.
Usually leaving or removing of the cervix won't change the post-operative condition much.
Regarding surgery, no need to worry. The possibility of major complications are very less when planned properly and done carefully.
Though you are having autoimmune disease, as you are not having symptoms due to that no need to fear about it.
