Cysts In Ovary Causing Irregular Periods. On Birth Control. Pinkish Vaginal Discharge. Need To Get Checked?
I never get my period regularly. I often have cysts (painful) on my overies. My OBGYN just put me on birth control so that I would start getting my period regularly and combat some side affects of the cysts and hormones. I finally got my period for the first time in about 6-8 months. There is no way I was pregnant. However, when I had my period today very very large piece of very thick white and pink and red tissue came out. We are talking a couple of inches long and a pencil width in thickness. Very stretchy and not really bloody at all. Very painful leading up to this. What is is? Is it normal? Should I see a Dr? What is wrong with me?
As you had 6 to 8 months of amenorrhea. There might be excessive growth of endometrial tissue. When you got the withdrawal bleeding after using the oc pills, now the endometrial tissue will also shed along with the blood. So the tissue you mentioned could be endometrial tissue. If your bleeding continues as normal flow and stops no need to worry. For more details you can ask me through: http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-sree-gouri-sr/63429 Take care.
