Crunching And Pain In My Knee.What Could This Be?

Ok, This has been going on now for the last five months.My knee bruses first then the pain starts the next day. Every time i go to walk strech or bend my knee i hear crunching noise and the pain gets intense when doing so. what could this be?

Thanks for query,
You have not mentioned your age.
If you are elderly then it may be due to osteoartherits of the knee.
Due to degeneration changes ligament and muscles become lax or due to less lubrication joint become dry causing crunchimg sound.
Go for physiotherapy and light patellar exercise.
