My itiching has spread to other areas like my face and ears itching. I believe I am having an allergic reaction to the creams. What else can I do, that is natural, that might give me some relief? In natural medicines we use butter as local applicant. This has to be treated just with water to make it worthy of local application.Fresh butter is taken in a pan and this is washed with plain water for one hundred times. Now this can be applied. There is also recommendation of coconut oil for local application as this too is free from side effects. In medicines ghee made from sulfur is applied as a better option. Sulfer is melted in ghee and then in a molten state it is transferred to a pot containing milk and water mixed. Purified sulfer settles down and this ghee is collected from top. This is kept over a low flame to evaporate water. This is ready as an ointment for local application. Internal use of turmeric is also recommended.

Welcome to HCM
Yes the cream that was used by you for your basal cell carcinoma might have some allergic manifestation. Yes ofcourse it has the treatment. In homeopathy the allergic reaction can be neutralised by proper medication. But it is required more detail symptoms about the nature of itching like which parts are itching and is there any eruption with itching or no erruption. If there is any erruption then it is like small acne types eruption or like bee sting types (urticaria). Is there any liquid like things oozing from the part you itch or dry in nature. after itching is there any burning sensation? does the itching is worse in warmth ? does the itching is worse in night time? does the itching is worse in any specific condition? etc etc . so there needs a detail elaborate symptoms.
If you want to consult with me then can contact us here in homeopathy section.
Thank you

Ayurveda Specialist Dr. Munish Sood's  Response
1. basal cancer with allergic reaction, try holy basil (tulsi).
2. Ayurveda considers holy basil as one of the main herb to fight against painful/allergic conditions, and because it's an adaptogen, it will help your body to adapt against the stress suffered/produced by the
cancer and its treatment.
3. it is a natural COX-2 inhibitor, so you can opt for tulsi V caps or Curcumin V caps alongwith immunomodulatory treatment.
