Could You Advise Me A Chiropractor Having The Pain In The Back Groin And Leg In Spite Of The Pain Killers After The Total Hip Replacement Surgery?
I HAD A TOTAL HIP REPLACEMENT 2 YEARS AGO AND BEEN IN PAIN EVER SINCE. PAINS RECENTLY IN MY BACK,GROIN AND LEG HAVE BECOME UNBEARABLE IN SPITE OF MY GP S PAIN KILLERS. ALSO MY MOBILITY IS GREATLY REDUCED AND MY SLEEP IS AFFECTED. MY ONLY RELIEF IS IN SITTING DOWN. WHILE MY SURGEON DIAGNOSED HIP BURSITIS, MY GP SAID LATER I HAD ILLIOTIOBIAL BAND SYNDROME. THE LITTLE PHYSIOTHERAPY I UNDERWENT DID NOT HELP. I AM DESPERATE TO GO BACK TO THE WAY I WAS AT LEAST BEFORE MY OPERATION. I COULD WALK, LIVE A NORMAL LIFE WITH ONLY OCCASIONAL BACKACHE AND STIFFNESS IN MY LEGS. I AM IN NEED OF TREATMENT BUT DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO TURN. ORTHOPAEDICS? CHIROPRACTICE? COULD YOU PLEASE ADVISE ME? ODETTE CUNNINGHAM
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears that you have some nonallienment of the bone ends while fixing, or the the replaced hip may be not in size with the joint. I advise you to consult a rheumatologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have a C.T.scan of the hip for diagnosis of the problem. I usually prescibe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and then periodically. Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods till the pains are gone. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you
