Could Weight Around Abdomen Cause Pin Prick Sensations?

what could cause pin prick sensations in my abdomen area? It feels it is on the skin, or just under. I feel a few per day now & then. I have excess weight around my core, which I am working on exercising off. I have to sit a lot in the car driving my kids around, & I sit a lot at the computer, etc. I am wondering if it could be digestive-related. I had a good elliptical machine workout two nights ago, & was hoping I would reduce after that & the one a few days before. Instead, my abdomen feels bigger, & I am wondering if this happens after exercising, because you release toxins, etc, & it is delivered to the digestive system to dispose of. I have noticed this many times now that I am older, that after exercising, I will get bigger in the ab area, then will suddenly reduce, & sometimes have several BMs. Thank you.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
Now you have 2 problems, one is the pricking sensations, in the abdomen, may be skin sensation.
Second is the obesity.It is a sensitive issue, because you are leading sedentary life.
You can keep weight under control, by avoiding fats,fries, junk foods, and oily foods.
Increase your activity by practicing, morning walk, yoga, gardening, and do any work in front of you.
Minimize the sleeping time ,practice late to bed, and early to rise, avoid day time sleep.
The pricking sensation may be due to the gastric hyper acidity.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms omeprazole, domperidone, and antacid gel.
Avoid taking spices, junk foods, and oily foods.
