Could Vaginal Itching With Cracked Labia Majora Be Due To Shaving?

Hello, I ve been experiencing vaginal itching (pubis area). I assumed it was from shaving. So I didn t shave for a week. The symptoms subsided. Then I started itching once I shaved again. Now on labia majora (upper area) I have cracks on the skin. I m unsure if it came from vigorous scratching. What should I do? What can this be?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The itching appears to be due to the fungal infection,or may be secondary to the diabetes.
I advise you to consult a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have estimation of blood sugar, fasting and post pernondial.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms fluconazole, ofloxacin, and grisofulvin, and a combination steroid ointment.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
