My age is 59 years old, went to a doctor for tonsil stones in right eustachian tube along with the feeling of swollen tonsil. . The doctor also noted yellowish fluid behind ear drum, but I have no allergies. Also nearly constant ringing in ears for past 4 months. The right eustachian tube is always the culprit and so far have had two occasions of excessive tonsil stone discharge, three time in past ten years plus noticed tonsil stones 5 times without any symptoms in past ten years. The left side has never had problems. I m waiting on a culture result, they swabbed the tonsil area around the eustachian opening as well as rubbed the swab over a tonsil stone I removed just prior to office visit. After my doctor visit I noticed small amount of fresh bright red blood coming from eustachian tube. My first concern is the blood which came from the eustachian tube after a very gentle push near opening to dislodge visible tonsil stones., The reason for yellowish fluid behind both ear drums and then the ringing. I also notice that years ago the eustachian tube with surrounded by smooth skin and was visible as tiny thin vertical slit. Now the tissue surrounding it is all swollen and the opening is distorted. The original observation of the condition of the outside of the eustachian opening was made maybe 15 years ago.
