Could Throat Pain Be Due To Gluconorm Tablet?
hi i am diagnosed with insulin resistance, and a blood test revealed high insulin levels in my body.Doctor prescribed me gluconorm sr 1g.But I am presently experiencing throat burn almost all the time.is there any relation with my taking gluconorm sr?

The gluconorm usually leads to headache , dizziness , weakness like side effects ....
You are complaining sore throat like presentation ...
This drug can lead such side effect but it is very rare ...
When sore throat and congestive symptoms occurs physician should be consultated. ...
If needed ASO titre and throat swab taken if needed for diagnosis ....
Salt water gargles done ....
If needed suitable antibiotic course given along with decongestent.
