Yes, when babies are teething they tend to get irritated, salivate , have fever sometimes , may not sleep well, and their gums are red and itchy which forces them to chew on stuff which gives soothing effect to their gums. It is completely normal for your baby to have temperature at this time, but giving them baby tylenol will be helpful. you could also, offer your baby with teething toys which are cold( kept in fridge) , sooth their gums.
