Could The Pea Sized Bump Behind Ear With Swelling Be An Abscess?
My husband noticed a pea sized bump behind his left ear yesterday morning. By night it had gotten larger & very painful & is worse today. Nothing seems to be helping. He has taken ibuprophen & used swarm compress. The swelling is very notifiable behind his ear & neck. Could this be an abscess?

from history it seems that he might be having enlarged painful lymph node behind the ear.
Go for one course of antibiotic for 3-5 days.
Take anti-inflammatory medicine for 2-3 days.
Ok and take care.
