Could The Panic, Scariness And Withdrawn From Reality Due To Quitting Smoking?
I have been smoke marijuana for 5 years just recently I quit. It's been 31 days since I last smoke. I have no desire to start back I just quit cold turkey. But now I starting to feel the effects from it such as panicky, scared for no reason withdrawn from reality. Also afraid to be alone and afraid to drive. I need help
Hi, Developing anxiety symptoms like those that you have mentioned are frequently reported due to intake of marijuana which usually starts while one is still consuming or in some cases like yours, after stopping. Under no circumstances, you should restart smoking marijuana again. You will be needing anti anxiety medications like one of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors and a benzodiazepine.
