Could The Pain In The Lung Be A Module?

2 years ago I had my middle lobe of my lung removed. I had an incapciled nodule on the lung that didn't need chemo or radiation. Today the pain in the right side of my lung and directly in the back is becoming unbearable. Is this natural or could I have another nodule? Thank you

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Lung nodule is usually accidental finding and does not cause any symptoms.
But if nodule is large enough to obstruct bronchi than collapse, consolidation can cause similar kind of pain.
So better to get done chest x ray and CT thorax (if needed) to rule out nodule and it's complications.
If chest x ray is normal then no need to worry for nodule.
You might be having musculoskeletal pain only.
So apply warm water pad on affected site and start painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
