Could The Lumps Under The Head Of Penis Be Due To Herpes?

My boyfriend and I recently had sex , possibly 4 days ago. We moved into our apartment so having sex was a regular and continuous ritual up until that day. After we had sex one night he complained about his Penis hurting. It hurts to touch and it hurts to wash. Everytime we had sex he NEVER washed his penis because he was too tired and he worked at a warehouse for at least 12 hours M-Sat. Well I said all that to say this, he said he started out with one bump on his shaft right under the head of his penis... It hurts to pull it back, now he has about 5. Only two of the 5 are white though. He s in a lot of pain and his boxers irritate him. He went to the ER and the doctor told him he had herpes, no test or anything was given. When he asked for a test the doctor assured him the ER doesn t give test and that he had Herpes and wrote him a prescription. He s never had this problem before and we are in a monogamous relationship. Could this really be Herpes??? Please help

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Genital Herpes manifests with grouped vesicles with clear fluid which ruptures to give rise to tiny grouped ulcers. They may heal with or without medicine within a week or two.
Your symptoms like hurting to touch or wash might possibly be due to mild abrasions during sex.
Difficulty in put the foreskin back and whitish bumps might be due to an yeast infection predisposed by poor cleaning habits.
A careful examination and investigations by a dermatologist will spot the diagnosis. Treatment has to be planned accordingly.
