Could The Hair Visible Underneath The Skin Be A Pilonidal Cyst After Draining The Pilonidal Abcsess ?

Iv already had a pilonidal abcess which was drained over a year ago. but now the area where the scars are are imflammed and red but not painful and further below on the right side is a pile of hair that is visable but is underneath the skin . could that be a pilonidal cyst or ingrown hairs or something?

recurrence of pilonoidal sinus is possible and it is seen in some people, i suggest u get it examined by a surgeon, if it is non tender and u r not getting fever it can be ignored for a while
