Could The Complex Lesion In The Ovary Be Ovarian Cancer?

I have been having some vague symptoms for several months, feeling bloated, weight gain, excessive fatigue, I'm a female, 53, was told i am "post menopausal" but have had some recent bleeding and mild cramping. Had pelvic US that showed a "complex lesion" in my left ovary… my PCP said it's "nothing to worry about", should I f/u with a specialist? I'm a nurse and of course my first thought is ovarian cancer

Hi,

My opinion is to better get pelvis MRI. Its the right and very useful test in your case. In this way you will be sure for the origin of complex lesion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Esmeralda Sera
