Could Taking Prozac Cause Arm Pain, Fainting, Sweating And Nausea?
22 year old female. Currently taking 20mg of Prozac due to depression. Last night I remember waking up in the middle of the night because I had a pain in my arm (feeling like I slept on it weird). I passed out and woke up sweating with nausea. Is Prozac the reason for this? I have fainted before but only when getting my blood taken.
Hello, Prozac (fluoxetine) can cause nausea, sweating and weakness and they are quite common. And as you have explained, the pain in the arm is mostly due to abnormal position rather than due to the medication. Usually these symptoms subside over days. If they are severe and intolerable, then you can ask for an alternative. Hope the above information helps you. Thanks for writing into healthcaremagic. Take care.
