Hi & Welcome.
Inadequate dose of Eltroxin seems to be the cause of weight gain.

Tubectomy does not result in weight gain as it is thought.

So, the dose of Eltroxin should be increased after consulting your treating doctor and a thyroid function test should be done to check its response after 4-6 weeks. The TSH should be maintained in the range of 0.3-3 mIu/mL for an effective control of hypothyroidism.
Besides you should do regular exercise and avoid fatty meals, ice creams, chocolates, etc.

Hope this answers your query.
