Could Taking Tramadol And Lipitor Cause Dementia?

My mom is 86 yrs old and is on several medication such as Lipitor and tramadol for pain and others for high blood pressure and diabetes I notice that she has being showing signs of dementia and is confused everyday since taking these medication about 3 months now. I to stop the tramadol and Lipitor as my research tells me these can cause dementia what do you advise
