Could Tab Ovral Taken 21 Days For Ivf Treatment Cause Rise In FSH From 9.91 To 29?

am a 49 yrs old who went see a gynae for ivf treatment ,she put me on Ovral L tab for 21 days after which Iwent for Day 2 blood test....my FSH level which was earlier 9.91 went upto 29 after taking Ovral L .....she refused me the treatment ...Now my feeling is that the tablet that she put me on created the mess what should I do?

OVRAL i.e.levonorgestrel + ethinylestradiol is used for contraception and most potent and efficient drug.
The most common side effect is ENDOCRINE & METABOLIC disorder .
Your F S H may increases due to the side effect of ovral but need not to worry .
Stop this drug at once and wait for another couple of days , the F SH level will come down spontaneously.
In my opinion this is not a cause of concern.
As you didn't mention the time of blood sample for FSH ( WHEN IT TAKEN).
Note down as.
F SH IN FEMALE .
Follicular phase ===3-0-20 U/L
Ovulatory phase==9.0-26 U/L
Luteal phase===1.0-12.0 U/L
So don't get tension , this is normal .
