Could Swollen, Painful Hands Be Due To Cold Weather Causing Some Kind Of Arthritis?

My husband has been up north hunting all weekend and the back if his hands are all swollen and painful. Not really red but super swollen and painful. Could the cold weather have caused some kind of arthritis or it could it be gout?No because not red or no fever. Thank you!

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be due to the bites of the insects in the place , and the red ness and itching has come down and swelling is still there . The other causes may be the defeciency of vitamin B1. etc.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms therapeutic bcomplex, ofloxacin, and diclofenac sodium, citrizine, and mild steroid.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and
protein rich foods to hasten the recovery.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
