Could Swollen Lymph Node Behind The Ear Be Due To Eczema?

My daughter, who is 11 has a swollen lymph node behind her ear. She has not been sick and the only thing I can connect is the fact that she had an oozing spot on her head of what looked like her typical eczema but may be infected. She has had impetigo prior on her hands as a result of the eczema as well. Wondering if this is a possibility or why.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that having some bacterial infection on eczema site might give rise to enlarged post auricular lymph node.
She might require one course of antibiotic to cure local infection,
Continue with eczema treatment.
Ok and take care.
