Could Sweating, Feeling Of Bruised Back With Broken Wrist After Fall Be Serious?

My husband fell from head height and broke his wrist last night... This has been seen by the hospital. However he didn t mention that he had also hurt is back. He says it feels bruised but i cant see any bruising. Now he is sweating but is freezing cold. Could he be in shock? Or do you think he has maybe damaged his back more severely than just a bruise?
