Could Spots On Legs And Arms Along With Lumps On Pelvic Region Refer To Melanoma?

I have small red, brown, and somewhat purple dots on my legs and arms. They ve appeared spontaneously out of nowhere over the past few days. I ve recently taken vitamens i havn t taken almost ever, like; b-12, iron, garlic, and dl-alpha. so im not sure if thats whats causing it. Im a 16 year old boy and the first thing that pops in my head when i see strange dots on my body, is exaggerated like melanoma or something. so i wanted to talk to a professional, but my families economic situation isnt the best and doctor visits are last measures. not to mention, i have a series of small hard lumps in my pelvic region on both left and right and there are several lumps. probably about 12 on my right and 3 or 4 on my left. at first i thought they were my lymph nodes, but im also pretty sure you shouldn t be able to feel your lymph nodes and they shouldn t be so large. id really appreciate some professional feedback please!

Hi,

I can understand your concern for spots on legs and arms along with lumps on pelvic region to be melanoma.

Let me reassure you that your condition does not refer to any type of melanoma. There is strong possibility of the brown spots may be actually Freckles and the rest of lumps in pelvic region might e simple fibromas.

The most important thing is that not all moles are dangerous. From your description it do not appear as malignant melanoma. Just check for sudden increase in size, asymmetry, itching and pain in the moles if any.

you are just 16 years of age and in this age there is least possibility of any skin malignancy.

Take care.
