Could Soreness In Jaw Joint Be A Tetanus Infection Caused By Shaving With Rusty Razor?

I shaved with a rusty razor , about a month ago and now one side of my jaw joint is sore and tight. Could I have tetanus? Or just a coincidence? I did go to a dentist to see if it was an infection from a tooth. He said no most Lilly not after taking X-rays. Now im freaking out!

Hello,
Interesting history it is very important for the youngsters to know regarding the healthy shaving practices.
As you are giving the history of using the rusty razor, if you have not immunized against the tetanus then chance of getting tetanus will be more.But the pain what you are describing is due to some cut during the act of shaving which has lead to infection nothing else. do not need to be so anxious.
But as we are giving the TT injection under universal immunization programme you will be protected against it. If you don't know your immunization status you can take one dose of TT.
