Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pain in the axilla can be due to many causes.
In case there is suspicion of a blood clot formation, you can get Doppler study to know the status of blood vessels in the axilla.
In case the pain is due to clot formation, appropriate treatment can be instituted to resolve the clot.
Other causes of pain in the axilla include musculoskeletal pain.
Clinical examination will determine the cause of the pain.

Thanks and take care
