Could Severe Cough, Pain Between Shoulder Blades And Scabs Be Due To Pneumonia?

I have a barking, productive cough that is much worse at night. I cough up mucus and what appears to be small scabs. I also have sharp pain between my shoulder blades due to coughing so much. The symptoms have been present for 3 weeks. I had one round of levaquin 750 mg x 10 days, but I am still no better. Could this be pneumonia?

hi
you have cough which has not settled since 3weeks.
also the cough is very bad at night.
it can be pneumonia but there are other symptoms with pnemonia like fever, shortness of breath, increase in breathing rate etc.
but according to me any cough with more than 2 months duration should be investigated thoroughly and there should be a proper diagnosis for it.
so i would suggest you to visit a pulmonologist and seek proper help.
regards
