Could Pins And Needles In Feet And Toes Be The Side Effect Of Taking Metroproler Succinate?
My doctor prescribed MetoproloER Succinate 5MG tabs to lower my blood pressure on 1/31. Since then, I have had a prickling, tingling "pins & needles" sensation in my feet and toes and moves into my lower legs. Also, sort of a numbing sensation when walking sometimes. Does this relate to the medicine?

Your doctor has prescribed you metoprolol which is bata blocker.As this medication is very effective for control of blood pressure and it also show some side effects. Tingling and numbness can be a rare side effect of this drug but it is less severe and will be vanished soon.apart from this if you feel any other severe side effect then you should consult your physician. But nothing wrong now. Stay healthy.
