Could Persistent Pain In Head And Abdomen Suggest Anxiety In A Child?

My 6 year old daughter feel sick all the time-for several months now. Almost in waves several times per day. She aches and says her head and tummy hurShe has not had a fever but the glands in her neck are lumpy. I suspect she has anxiety because when I massage her and have her breathe deeply it helps. Any other ideas? thanks--uninsured and worried mom

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I am sure that anxiety and obsession in young children do produce such symptoms as is mentioned here. But before attributing these behavior to anxiety, a thorough physical investigation is needed. I hope you had consulted a pediatrician in this regard. Let the doctor assess the condition and diagnose. Please consult pediatrician.
