Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi Vijay,

Welcome to HCM. I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Pain in the breast and discharge can be due to hormonal changes. The usual work up we do in these cases are

1. Hormonal tests :

Serum prolactin, testosterone, LH, FSH, TSH, beta HCG and estradiol

2. Imaging : ultrasound of breast to look for any nodules

The treatment depends on the reports of hormonal tests and imaging. You can consult an endocrinologist or physician to get yourselves evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help
With warm regards,
Dr Ajish TP (MD,DM)
