Could Pain In Abdomen Along With Anaemia Symptoms Be Due To Ulcers?

I had a stomach ulcer (well multiple) blow last year. Was in ICU for 4 days for the internal bleeding. They were cauterized and I was fine. Now, every time I eat I'm in horrible pain again just like back then. I'm also feeling the anemia symptoms again. Could the ulcers be back and doing the same thing? Thanks for your time

Also, when I stand my pule elevates a lot like it did then as well

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear user,

I really understand your concern.

Yes, the ulcer bleeding can reoccurs so check for black stools (melena) which will tell you if the ulcer bleeding i reactivated. Due to loss of blood also anemia will occurs.

So be careful, take medications as prescribed and follow the recommendations.

hope this helps.
