Could Numbness In Knees And Ankles Be Due To Nerve Blockage In Spine?
I have had back surgery on L 1&2. Now I m having trouble with L5..I have had two nerve blocks. After the first one I felt great. Right after the second one the numbness I have is much more widespread than it was and I have lost my knee and ankle jerks. I haven t had one in my left leg since my surgery but now the right side is gone. What happened?

I feel that the nerves carrying the sensations from the right lower limb needs a workup. Kindly get a nerve conduction study and also EMG and find out if it is skewed. If so the treatment needs a reconsideration.
