Could Nausea, Cramps, Swollen Breasts And Diarrhea With HPT Negative Indicate Ectopic Pregnancy?

I am feeling very nauseated, some cramping in my lower abdomen, swollen breasts and having some diarrhea at about the exact time every day. My period is two days late but my test has come back negative for pregnancy. Am a little concerned as I have previously had an ectopic pregnancy 3 years ago. Never had diarrhea as a symptom with my two viable pregnancies.

Hello and welcome.

The symptoms could be related to an ecotpic pregnancy, but is highly unlikely. I would recommend a blood investigation to check on hormone levels (as an imbalance can also cause these symptoms), an ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis which will confirm/rule out both a normal and ectopic pregnancy.

Please report to a doctor at the earliest if you are prone to having an ectopic pregnancy.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
