My 10 year old son drinks large amounts of fluids- he ll drink 2 or 3 lts of apple juice in a night, cause he was drinking so much juice or cordial i now only have water, he will still easily drink 2lts at a time. His lost about 3 kg in weight, he was only 32 kg to start. He sweats alot. I m concerned that he might have diabetes . I ll ring tommorow to make a dr s appointment for him but as we live in a country area it could take up to two weeks to see a dr. Could it be something else? My son is autistic the drama of having blood sugar tests would be huge.
