Could Monster Energy Drink With Predisone Cause Heart Palpitations And Dizziness?
I am currently taking prednisone for my asthma. I am on the tapering doses.I had a monster energy drink this morning and experienced,heart palpitations,shortness of breath,dizziness and slight discomfort in my chest. I am curious if the monster energy drink in combination with the prednisone caused this.not trying to sound stupid but I ve done this before and there were no problems

Stop trying to be brave and doing things you aren't supposed to.
If you have done this before and had no problems, it doesn't mean you can do it again. If you are an asthmatic and on prednisone, that means your asthma is severe. No drinks with any fizz, nor cold drinks neither hard drinks are supposed to be taken during an attack.
Stick to proper treatment and a proper diet to get better fast
