Could Mild Pain In Knee Be Caused By High Uric Acid Level In Blood?
Sir, I have been having a mild pain in my knee, post exercise or any strenuous physical activity. A few years ago i was diagnosed with high uric acid level in the blood. But after taking the medicine they went back normal and i stopped. but the pain has resurfaced again, is it because of the same reason?
Hi, thank you for he query. I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. High uric acid levels in blood may not always lead to gout (or pain). Pain from gout is severe and generally occurs in the night or early in the morning and associated with warmth, swelling and redness of the joint. I think the pain you are feeling might be as a result of straining your ligaments or tendons around the joint. You may take some anti inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen to control the pain.
I hope that answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. We will be delighted to answer more questions from you. I wish you good health
