Could Lump On Vagina Opening Cause Miscarriage?

I have recently found out that I was pregnant and a couple of days later I have had pain in the pelvic area. I have had this for about 4 days. I discovered a lump on one side near the opening of my vagina. I am very nervous that this May be something to cause a miscarriage.

Hi

Happy to know that you are pregnant.

Don't worry about the lump near the vaginal opening. It will not cause miscarraige.
From what you have written it appears like a Bartholin abscess ( infection of a gland near the vaginal opening). Please get examined by a gynecologist. If it is abscess it needs to be opened and drained at the earliest. This is a minor procedure. Don't worry .
If it is a cyst only it can be treated later.
If you have any further concerns do contact me through Healthcare Magic. I will be happy to answer.
