I am 46 and I developed a firm lump on my right shoulder 5-7 months ago, my doctor saw it and said leave it alone it is nothing, it is the size of a small walnut, now I have noticed that both shoulders have significant muscle loss and I have a dull dense pain in my opposite shoulder, should I be concerned

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your lump on shoulder may be some soft tissue tumor like lipoma, neurofibroma or dermatofibroma.
You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or excision biopsy of that lump.
It will give you exact diagnosis.
Then you should take treatment according to diagnosis.
Consult your doctor and plan accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
