Could Losing Of Voice Be Due To Asthma?

I have lost my voice, but my throat doesn't really hurt. My nose is not really stuffed up but when I blow my nose the snot is green and clumpy. My head doesn't hurt at all and I'm not uncomfortable...I have asthma could it be that? If not what could it be? thanks

hello,thanks for ur query, loss of voice could be due to sinusitis( green clumpy nose) or asthma( severe cough and breathlessness ) causing congetion and ulcers of vocal cards.u need to give steam inhaltion,absolute voice rest, proper medications to sinusitis ans asthma.visit an ent surgeon.all d best.take care.
