Could Lightheadedness And Dizziness Indicate Dehydration?

I ve been at work all day outside and didn t drink much water. Approximately 1 hour before I ended my shift ended. Started to feel light headed, after getting home I have drank about a gallon of water but I m still feeling light headed after sitting down but mainly when I stand up to walk around, if i stand still when standing I slowly feel a little better, but when I start walking around start getting a little dizzy, I have been feeling like this for about 6 hours what can I do...

I really appreciate your concern, if such lightheaded condition keeps on happening all along the way then it may needs some investigations like CT brain, EKG, ECHO, most of the time it may be due to some vestibular dysfunction if it is not due to some systemic disease, age and gender may concern here, hope this information may helps you, take care and have a nice day.
